Having supported and attended over 500 births as well as practicing Holistic Therapies over the last 25 years, I know only too well the joys and stresses of being a birth worker and therapist . Although it’s an enormous privilege to be supporting mothers and families through the birth journey it demands a lot from you; sleepless nights, the weight of the responsibility and being a woman’s emotional and physical support.

Many birth workers and holistic therapists will find themselves burnt out before too long. You might be struggling to cope with your own self care or sustaining healthy relationships and balance around you.
